Classic English Egg Custard Tart

Ingredients:

(serves 6–8):
Shortcrust pastry – 1 sheet (or 250 g homemade)
Whole milk – 400 ml
Double cream – 100 ml
Eggs – 3 large
Caster sugar – 80 g
Ground nutmeg – ½ tsp (plus extra for sprinkling)
Vanilla extract – 1 tsp
